Careers Week 2025
Shaping Our Future: A Vibrant Recap of Careers Week at Singlewell Primary School
Last week we had an exciting Careers Week that took place at Singlewell Primary School, where our pupils embarked on an inspiring journey exploring various professions and envisioning their future careers. Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to engage with professionals from diverse fields, gaining insights and sparking their imaginations about the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
Careers Fair:
Careers Week was a huge success, filled with inspiration, curiosity, and excitement! Throughout the week, students had the chance to hear from a wide range of guest speakers including midwives, firemen, sports presenters, game programmers, Arctic explorers, and many more fascinating professionals. A highlight was the Careers Fair for Years 2 to 6, where students asked thoughtful questions to experts in diverse roles such as a photographer, hairdresser, global procurement manager, financial advisor, midwife, head nurse, and teacher. It was a fantastic opportunity for children to explore future possibilities and dream big!
Dress-Up Day:
We would also like to say a big thank you to all the parents and carers who supported our Careers Week dress-up day. Your creativity and effort in helping the children come dressed as their future selves truly brought the day to life. Seeing the excitement and pride on the children’s faces made it all the more special, and it's these moments that help make events like this both memorable and meaningful. Another HUGE thank you to all of our guests, without you our careers week would not have been as successful for all our pupils.
Everyone's continued support plays a huge part in supporting us to enrich your children's school experience— so thank you!
