Fire Engine Visit

On Monday, 4th December, pupils in Years 1 and 2 welcomed a valuable visit from a parent firefighter alongside the Kent Fire Service. The scheduled visit linked in with learning in Year 1 about people who help us and ‘The Great Fire of London’ in Year 2.

During the fire talk, pupils were inspired! They learnt what the job of a firefighter entails and what to do in a fire emergency. The children thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with the Kent Fire fighters who talked through and demonstrated equipment in the truck. We even got to see one of them in their entire fire uniform!

On behalf of the school, we would like to say a huge thank you to our brave parent fire fighter and the amazing Kent Fire Service.
