NSPCC Number Day 2026

On Friday 6th February, our school proudly celebrated NSPCC Number Day, and the whole day was buzzing with excitement, creativity, and a love of maths. Pupils and staff embraced the spirit of the event by dressing up for digits, with fantastic number-themed outfits on display across the school — from sports shirts and number characters to clever homemade creations.

Throughout the day, children took part in a range of fun and challenging number-based activities designed to develop problem-solving skills and build confidence in maths. Classrooms were alive with number challenges, puzzles, and investigations that encouraged teamwork, resilience, and mathematical thinking.

A particular highlight was the times table battles, where pupils enthusiastically put their multiplication skills to the test. The friendly competition created lots of excitement and showcased just how hard everyone has been working to improve their fluency.

The day was a huge success, combining learning with laughter while supporting an important cause. NSPCC Number Day was a wonderful reminder that maths can be fun, engaging, and meaningful — and we are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm shown by all our pupils.
